Located along the central portion of the state’s “Gulf Beaches,” just southwest of Tampa/St. Petersburg on Gulf Boulevard, these three beautiful communities have a full-time population of approximately 6,000 residents, although that number nearly triples during the tourist season. These barrier island communities are predominantly residential with long strips of white sand beaches, abundant fishing, boating activities, pleasant parks and spectacular natural wildlife and beauty.
Industries that provide employment in the three communities include educational, health and social services, finance, insurance, real estate and rental and leasing, professional, scientific, management, administrative and waste management services, manufacturing, arts, entertainment, recreation, accommodation and food services. Students in grades K-12 attend schools of the Pinellas County School District. Several colleges and universities are in proximity for those who wish to attain a degree in higher education.
Redington Shores is less than two square miles and has approximately 2,500 residents. The community features private beaches with no public parking and motels on Gulf Boulevard. North Redington Beach is home to approximately 1,600 residents. The town is home to a variety of shops and restaurants. To the south, Redington Beach is made up of another 1,700 residents who have the opportunity to enjoy the sun's first glimmer over Boca Ciega Bay (pic #5) and then watch it quietly slip into the Gulf of Mexico.
Real estate options in the three communities consist of single-family detached homes, large estates, condominiums, townhouses and land lots.
